    Yesterday marked the official first day of summer, even though for many of us it’s felt like summer for much longer! While there are so many positives to summertime food service, one negative can be bugs – we have to do our best and make sure the pests stay outside. Ensure you’re working with a licensed pest control operator, actively clean and monitor your establishment, and be proactive!

    On May 1st, the Grande Cheese Company issued a nation wide recall of over 1.7 million pounds of dairy products including lactose, whey protein, and cultured dairy products.     Cucumber recall: Cucumbers shipped from Fresh Start Produce of Florida to 14 states in the eastern U.S. have been voluntarily recalled due to potential salmonella contamination.
