I think people don't understand how important Tom Delonge was for the current situation of disclosure about UFO's. The only reason we even got the Gimble or Tic Tac footage was because of Tom Delonge. The only reason it's even in the news now is because of Tom Delonge and the connections he's made in government. UFOs became mainstream because of Tom Delonge and his efforts and team.

Tom is someone I have followed, and will continue to do so..
My dad recently passed away, and my buddy, SOMEHOW got in touch with To The Stars, explained my situation and overall love & admiration for him, that a few weeks later, I received a handsigned poster by Tom, written to me, about sympathizing with losing a father. Tom will never know just how much that meant to me.
He went out of his way, to do that. For me. Wild to think of. Someone who has a great personality, great sense of humor, great musician, but even a BETTER PERSON. He will, 100% without a doubt, have my full support, with whatever he chooses to do.

Each has a theme and tells a grand story and is meant to be listened to as an album. Hats off to Tom for the ambition and vision it takes to create the way he does. I know a lot of people were sh*tting on AvA when they dropped their first album, but damn...these albums are sonically amazing. Tom is the reason why I started playing guitar. “What’s My Age Again” is probably the first song I learned on guitar. I was a huge Blink fan and it they were my gateway into punk.
It’s still one of my favorite bands. “Take Off” is probably my favorite album of theirs because it feels like the distillation of everything that Blink had been and would become while keeping that signature Blink sound. When the self-titled album came out, I was already into heavier stuff like AFI, Thrice, Thursday, The Used, etc. By the time Angels and Airwaves came around, I wasn’t looking for new music like I was years before. Any new stuff I found was either post hardcore, metalcore, or Japanese rock. It’s only a decade later that I started checking out some of Angels and Airwaves stuff. I like some of it a lot and some of it doesn’t connect with me like other bands do.
But Tom is probably the most influential person on my life that I’ve never met. He sparked a love of music that I didn’t have before.

I looked crazy when i started talking to him and he pulled back a little, then I showed him my blink tat and he became super friendly and asked where I'm from, where's my accent from etc. I f*cking shined for couple of days after that. I was a kid from a small town in Estonia who grew up with blink, it meant a bunch for me at a time. And let me tell you... It was 17:59, and I was about to end my shift and go home. And there he was! There is some unseen force that just makes things like this happen. Good times! (Yes, I have a photo, hehe).

Tom DeLonge is my hero, and I know that is either a good thing or a bad thing to some but he is 100% my hero. I have watched SO much about him in his documentaries, read a lot about him in articles, and listened to his music. blink-182 and AVA are my top 2 fav bands of all time because of him.
I love what he is doing, I can't believe he is still going and I hope he can continue to do this stuff. I aspire to be like him in the sense that I want to be the person who just goes for it and doesn't really care if people think I am crazy or weird for doing it. That is why I love Tom, he isn't just a musician, an Entrepreneur, or an Alien-obsessed man, he is all of them and I love it.

I was always listening to rap for most of my teenage and early 20s but I remember listening to the first two A&A albums and loving them to the point where it was all I was listening to while at work.

thank you for making this video
tom will always be the underdog of this generation, musicheads wants tortured artists making depressing music to glorify, tom will never fit this RYM tier, but he is a genius
the fact he did back to back box car, untitled and ava is a run not many can claim, let alone the growth that led up to it from the lofi of dude ranch to the pop punk of enema

Now this is the content I need from this channel. I strted watching because of the truly informational and well-researched videos that spoke about bands' histories and the progression of music genres through history and I'm really tired to see such great content displaced by tiktok cringe and tier lists.
Great video. Hope more of this is to come.

While I'm not too into the UFO talk in general, I loved seeing Tom's detractors proven wrong a few years ago, and I love to see my love for Angels & Airwaves in particular being reinforced, being my favorite band for well over a decade, and I-Empire being my favorite album of theirs. Great video, might be your best!

Ive always loved tom as well. I was a huge fan of blink in highschool and i even remember a dream i had around that time where i traveled back in time and met tom when he was a highschooler and told him that one day hed be the lead singer of the one of the greatest bands in the world and he was stoked. Ive also always been fascinated by ufos and E.Ts and actually loved it when i heard he had left blink to persue ufo research. I was sad they had split but i thought it was super cool that he persued, what id consider, the greatest mystery of our time
