Astor Mental by Astor (2024)

I received Astor Mental last Month from Penguin Magic.
The frame is made from first classmaterial. Quite easy to perform and the fact that you can repeat it wit a different out-come iscool.
It does take a little practice to put the cards in the slot, but once you get the feel forit, you'll be on your way.
It would have been great if they made a animal set of cards for kids.
I like it and would recommend it to anyone who wants this kind of trick.
The other thing Iwould like to point out is--their service is 5 star. Great service.

Love it, I bought the cheaper one and it was a waste as the craft men ship wasn't worth a flip butthis version was worth every penny and it can be repeated to the same audience if you want to andeasy to learn,once you know the secret.

Very well made, and can be repeated with a different outcome ! The price is the best on the net :)Instructional DVD came with it too. This is going right into my parlor act ! The only thing that Ithought it needs was a stand to go with it, which I got at Walmart for $2.25.

The apparatus is as good as advertised. I Particullarly like the subtle color bars which remind theperformer of order placement; Nice touch. My only issue is that a small / narrow piece of blacktrim fell off of top portion of my unit. Easily replaced but disheartening. I display my unit on awooden stand. Pleasure to own.

I'm writing this review later than several others, and concur with most of their thoughts. I've usedthis prop probably 25 or so times and it's still working flawlessly. It goes over great too. I'm afirm believer in Astor and would like to meet him some day. It may be expensive, but it's worth itif you're looking for this sort of magic. There may be some versions as good, but none better.
